Frank Baca Frank Baca Frank Baca has joined the staff of the Kingsville Field Office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) at 401 E. King, Kingsville.

He was raised in the town of Pleasanton in Atascosa County, Texas.

He is a graduate from Texas A&M in 2009 where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with an emphasis on Wildlife Ecology and Management.

Frank has worked for TPWD at the Chaparral Wildlife Management Area as a student intern conducting range and wildlife habitat management research.

He has also been temporarily employed with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service as a Biological Science Technician in the Lower Rio Grande Valley to perform invasive plant species baseline inventories.

The areas of conservation that he is especially interested in include: soil and crop management, grazing management, brush management, and wildlife habitat management, and others.

Baca will be assisting Kenedy and Kleberg counties in all facets of soil and water conservation and will be receiving training in all the disciplines.

He will work with the respective local office through the Kleberg- Kenedy Soil and Water Conservation District #356 to assist farmers, ranchers and grazing land managers on the conservation, protection, and improvement of agricultural land resources.

“The Kleberg-Kenedy Soil and Water Conservation Board of Directors would like to welcome Frank to the NRCS office in Kingsville”, says John Prukop, Chairman of the local District Board.

“We know he will provide valuable assistance to our District and the staff in Kingsville in assisting landowners and operators to carry out conservation on their lands.”
