Audrey Gonzalez and George Moore test their secret recipe while practicing for the Kingsville Elks Veterans Chili Cook-off to be held Nov. 14. They anticipate a clean sweep of all the awards. The Kingsville Elks Lodge will hold its Salute to Veterans Chili Cook-Off at the Elks Lodge on Saturday, Nov. 14. The event is expected to attract teams from Kingsville citizens, Businesses, Military, Veterans and area communities.

Cooking will commence at 10 A.M. with awards being presented for best Chili and Showmanship at 3 P.M.

Judging will be by a team of local dignitaries. There will be live music and a host of activities for the young and old. Admission to the event will be free.

The entry fee for Chili Teams is $25 with all proceeds going to the Elks Charitable Programs.
