Enrique Palacios Sr. Enrique Palacios Sr., 95, of Bishop, died Sept. 15, 2009, in Bishop.

Palacios was born on July 28, 1914, in Santa Cruz, to Librado and Paula Ruiz Palacios.

Survivors include his wife, Aurora Lopez Palacios of Bishop; his children, Frank Palacios, John Palacios, Adam Palacios, all of Corpus Christi, Joe Palacios of Dallas, Rudy Palacios Sr. and Raul Palacios, both of Premont, George Palacios, Cynthia Palacios, Elena Puente, all of Bishop, Enrique Palacios of Houston, Anna Torres of Driscoll, and Silvia Moore of Evanston, Wyo.; 29 grandchildren, 36 greatgrandchildren, four greatgreat grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

A rosary was held Sept. 17 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown.

A funeral Mass was held Sept. 18 at St. James Catholic Church in Driscoll.

Burial followed at De La Luz Cemetery in Driscoll.
