KLEBERG COUNTY SHERIFF’S MOUNTED PATROL SUPPORTS COMMUNITYWith
money obtained through its annual King Ranch Trailride held each March,
the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol takes the opportunity to support
worthwhile area projects. Recently, KCSMP delivered a check for $500 to Eagle Boy
Scout Kenneth Cox aiding him in the purchase of backpacks filled with school supplies
for the children of mothers residing at the local Women’s Shelter. Earlier in the year
the patrol donated $1000 to the Retama boy scout troupe to replace burglarized
equipment and gave the same amount to the Sheriff’s Youth Programs. Bonded by
a mutual love of horses, KCSMP continues to contribute to the betterment of the
Kingsville community through activities such as volunteering additional security at
the high school and college football games. In this photo, from left to right-Marsha
